Model UN Intern with the World Federation of United Nations Associations

The World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA) is a global nonprofit organization working for a stronger and more effective United Nations. Established in 1946, we represent and coordinate a membership of over 100 United Nations Associations and their thousands of members.
We work to build a better world by strengthening and improving the United Nations, through the engagement of people who share a global mindset and support international cooperation – global citizens.
Our organization has offices at the United Nations in both New York and Geneva, and hosts interns in both locations. www.wfuna.org
WiMUN—Model UN Program
Since its establishment WFUNA has strived to connect people of all ages with the work of the United Nations. To that end, WFUNA has made a consistent effort to integrate a diverse range of youth-related activities into its core programming in order to ensure that young people have access to, and understanding of, the work of the UN.
The International Year of Youth is taking place from August 2010-2011. To commemorate this important occasion, WFUNA is stepping-up our youth outreach and activities. With this in mind, WFUNA has created the WiMUN project (WFUNA International Model United Nations).
