Project Coordinator at the China Research Center for Public Policy


The CRCPP is seeking highly-motivated individuals to coordinate our international research projects on governance, economic reform, infrastructure development, climate change and energy, and public health. 

The coordinator will assist senior staff with project coordination, strategic planning, HR recruitment, research, administrative, and other needed support on matters pertaining to our international research projects. He/she will help drafting and editing proposals, papers, correspondence, presentations, policy briefs, and articles on relevant topics; help coordinating conferences/projects; and performing various administrative tasks as assigned. He/she may also be involved in research as a research assistant. The Coordinator is provided with the chance to be seconded to the Chinese central government. The working schedule is flexible; Project coordinators could work from home or from anywhere needed.
The Person
  • Ideal candidate should hold a master’s degree, preferably in economics, public administration, public policy or a similar field
  • work experience in coordination preferred but not required
  • Working level proficiency in both Chinese and English
  • Strong computer skills (Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel, use of internet)
  • Superior organizational skills and communication skills; initiative, discretion and mature judgment
  • International work experience is preferred
