About Us:
Refugees who flee persecution, mass atrocities, and civil war have internationally-recognized legal rights to rebuild their lives in safety. But few can assert these rights without help. With operations in Ecuador, Thailand, and Tanzania, Asylum Access provides legal information, advice and representation directly to refugees in their first countries of refuge. By empowering refugees to assert their human rights, we support the creation of effective, lasting solutions for refugees around the world. Many organizations spend millions of dollars on humanitarian aid, but no other US organization helps refugees in Africa, Asia and Latin America assert their rights to employment, wages, education, basic safety, and a new life—free from fear.
