The Embassy of Australia in Washington, DC is pleased to launch the 2011 Student Video Contest. This year’s video contest theme is “Discover your Future Unlimited.” In their videos, students should describe how studying in Australia has impacted their careers, academic prospects, or lives to help them achieve their goals. If contestants have not studied in Australia yet, their videos should illustrate how an Australian education will help them achieve their goals. Contest participants must be United States or Canadian citizens or permanent residents at least 18 years old. Anyone who has studied in Australia, is thinking about studying in Australia, or simply has a general interest in Australia is eligible to submit a video.
The grand prize is two round-trip tickets to Australia courtesy of V Australia (www.vaustralia.com). There will also be one second-place prize (an Apple iPad) and three third-place prizes (Amazon Kindles).
