Executive Director at the Global Interdependence Center


GIC is seeking a high energy, self-starter who enjoys working in a dynamic environment. An interest in international trade, economics and finance would be an ideal fit for this position. This person must be able to effectively lead and manage the organization according to the strategic direction set by the Board of Directors. He/she will engage in and oversee activities related to Membership Development and Retention; Program Development, Delivery and Marketing; Website Enhancement; Relationship Development and Fundraising; and General Administration. This individual works in collaboration with the Executive Committee, the Board of Directors, Ad Hoc Committees, Partner Organizations, Sponsors, and general membership to achieve long and short term goals consistent with GIC’s mission. He/she must have strong management skills and must be able to interact effectively with local, national, and international academic, business and government leaders and constituencies. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, 5+ years organizational management experience, demonstrated fundraising ability, and marketing and event planning experience.
