Be an AIDemocracy Ambassador to the CARE USA Conference and International Women's Day Celebration! March 8-10. Washington, DC.
The event will feature keynote speakers Melinda Gates, Mrs. Laura W. Bush, Judy Woodruff and panel discussions led by issue experts from around the world. On March 10, attendees will meet with their member of Congress on Capitol Hill to ask for their support on key policies -- including robust foreign aid -- that will help empower women and girls to lift themselves and their communities out of poverty. AIDemocracy Ambassadors will receive a scholarship to cover travel, housing and registration fee. They will be expected to blog and tweet about the conference, in order to share their experiences with the broader network.
