Comparative Law Intern at the International Juvenile Justice Observatory


IJJO Internship: 'Comparative International Law'

Objectives of the placement:
Data management and Survey on international and European law for young offenders.
Conduct library research and assistance on implementing research quality control procedures.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and determination to meet deadlines.
Knowledge and experience in Research assistance on international and European Law.
Providing assistance on writing reports, summarizing research results and following up the project research deadlines.
Producing press release, analysis, statement, etc; targeted at the different UN and European Institutions, etc.


Profile:
Minimum study level: University degree in Law. (Specialized knowledge on European and International Law).
Excellent communication skills, able to communicate with a variety of stakeholders and collaborators.
Good writing and communication skills in English and French, Spanish is a plus.
Creativity, versatility, high energy, initiative and discipline.
Good use of IT.
Able to work independently as well as being part of a team.


Internship term:
Maximum 6 months minimum 3 months (Flexible period according to the student's availability).
No financial remuneration is offered by the IJJO (Please check the European ERASMUS and Leonardo Programme opportunities with your university).


Venue (according to the student's availability): Brussels (Belgium) / Salamanca (Spain)
