ABA Rule of Law Legal Fellowship in Thailand

The ABA ROLI field office in Bangkok, Thailand is searching for a Law Fellow for a six to twelve-month position. The Fellow will assist the Country Director and field staff international and domestic legal analysis and development of curricula and training materials. The position will include substantive work on a variety of issues related to our program work in the areas of increasing due process and judicial accountability in legal proceedings; promoting restorative justice; building the capacity of human rights lawyers; engaging in public outreach; and encouraging collaboration and coordination among key stakeholders.
 
In addition, the Fellow will be responsible for general tasks such as drafting outreach articles and donor reports.
 
The ideal candidate will have a J.D, strong writing skills, interdisciplinary understanding, a good work ethic, and a positive attitude. International experience, particularly in the region, is a plus.
 
The position is unpaid and the Fellow will be responsible for travel expenses, cost of living expenses, and medical insurance.
