International Bar Association Internship - The Hague, The Netherlands

INTERNATIONAL BAR ASSOCIATION 
International Criminal Court (ICC) Monitoring and Outreach Programme at The Hague, The Netherlands

The IBA is currently seeking highly motivated individuals as interns for the Hague office. The internship provides a unique opportunity to gain experience in the evolving field of international criminal justice for three months.

Main responsibilities:
Research and writing
Collection of material for IBA monitoring and outreach reports;
Analysis of evolving ICC jurisprudence and policy developments
Preparation of briefing notes for meetings, presentations and events
Assist with the preparation of the IBA Roundtable Discussion and other seminars and workshops as appropriate
Assist with routine office administration as required
Skills and experience
Advanced studies in international criminal, humanitarian and/or human rights law • Excellent research, writing and analysis skills • Strong interpersonal oral and written communication skills • Familiarity with computer based research
Fluency in French, an asset • Experience organising workshops and or seminars, an advantage • Prior intern experience at the ICC, ICTY or other international organisation an advantage
*The position is not remunerated
